Sofie has studied her twinship during her graduation project. One of the outcomes is the installation of the symbiotic twins. Questions about individuality and symbiosis, the distinction between body and mind and the connection between twins are central to this. Inspired by an ancient Eastern story that tells of an invisible, red thread that connects people, who are destined to spend their lives together. By exploring these themes, she hopes not only to provide more insight into the meaning of twinship, but above all to provide insight into the place we all hold in relation to each other, what sets us apart and what connects us.
