This object, installation and performance were part of Sofie Stal's graduation project. During the last year of the art school, Sofie has immersed herself in her twinship. Questions about individuality and symbiosis, the distinction between body and mind and the relationship between twins are central in the work. Inspired by an ancient Eastern story that tells of an invisible thread that connects people, who are destined to spend their lives together. By exploring these themes, she hopes not only to provide more insight into the meaning of twinship, but above all to provide insight into the place we all hold in relation to each other, what sets us apart and what connects us.
